My personal magic mushroom site

I couldn't upload my photos along with a post on shroomery.org when I really needed some help. I don't know why, don't really care now but it has only ever happened while trying to upload to shroomery.org. But I love my magic mushrooms, and want to learn enough about it so I can easily grow at home and be able to troubleshoot on my own without having to post questions online every couple of days.

Starting on the left is the photo of the myclelium when it first started to grow through the casing soil. As you can see, it's thick, fluffy and looks really healthy. The photo on the right is 11 days later. I just took it yesterday. It looks better in the photo than when I look at it in person. It looks like it's just slowly dying and or withering away. I had the lid on and was opening it a few times a day and fanning fresh air inside. There's lots of moisture, I mist it daily. The place I got it from said to keep it at least 1 metre away from a light not more than about 25 watts or even just some indirect light. I live in a motel room so I don't have any fancy equipment or anything. I have a little spot with a heater where it's dark for the the 12 hours of darkness but I have to move it for the 12 hours of light I give it because I have another kit that is still in the total 24/7 darkness stage. I put it on a heating pad that's 22-24 degrees celcius and it gets light from a pigtail fllourescent. The lid was completely stopping any fresh air from getting in so the only fresh air getting in was when I fanned it. I adjusted the lid so some air can exchange. Can I start the casing process over again??? Do I need too??? If so, how do I do it. The kit worked better than advertised until I cased and after the initial growth came through the casing soil.
